Phlebotomist/Lab Assistant

Full-time 30-40 hours/week

POMA Fertility in Kirkland, WA is seeking an experienced or entry-level Phlebotomist/Lab Assistant. Associates Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or BS/BA in biological sciences is preferred and US citizenship/permanent US residency is required. Experience is a plus. You will be required to have a valid WA Phlebotomy certification.

The successful candidate must be extremely detail-oriented, communicate clearly, have the ability to multi-task and have sound organizational skills. Job requires working in a clean aseptic laboratory environment. The experienced and trained candidate will be performing blood draws, blood and semen analysis using laboratory equipment, as well as other tasks as assigned to assist the clinical and lab teams. Basic computer knowledge and ability to be trained is necessary.

We seek a laboratory personnel who has the drive and enthusiasm for patient contact, QA/QC, regulatory compliance and who functions well independently as well as a team-player. Work schedule may require some weekend and holiday work.

COMPENSATION and BENEFITS PACKAGE:
This Position is Non-Exempt (Hourly), starting pay based on experience.

Our clinic is located in Kirkland, WA near Evergreen Hospital, with easy access via I-405. Morning day shifts only and more flexibility in terms of schedule since we are open 7 days/week!
